Well it was my first day in London yesterday and it’s great, although a little expensive! We left Bournemouth at 10 and arrived at the studio at 1. We’ve been discussing ideas and have a loose brief to work with now.
Our accommodation is a little rough but fine for the price and location to the work place.
I’ll let you know how it goes as and when.

Phil has managed to arrange a suitable work placement in London for myself and Adam Jaggard. I’m very grateful as this will allow me to spend two weeks in the capital and to produce a full working website. The client is a professional photographer his current website is dire but portfolio sites give a lot of freedom to be creative and exciting.
We have sorted accommodation 20 minutes away from his studio in Islington. Hopefully this will allow us to go out in the evenings and network with other photographers and designers.

We are currently undergoing an screen based interactive project on the course. I have come up with a fairly simple idea but quiet conceptual.
The project must be based around a narrative, I have chosen Anthony Gormley. He’s a sculpture who bases his work around the idea of personal space and surroundings of an idividual. I will take this loosely but creating a wire frame figure (much like the artists sculptures). As you roll to the edges of the screen figure sound will play. when you roll towards the figure the sound will lessen and stop. I have yet to put my thoughts and meanings in writing but it makes sense to me at present!
